- Build A Routine: This is the key to success in anything. You need a routine of daily tasks that you do everyday. It’s just as simple as that. If you want clean and healthy teeth, all you need to do is brush and floss them in a routine that is applied everyday. You don’t have to get up and reinvent the wheel. You don’t have to figure out a new way to approach a problem. You just apply a routine and this is precisely what you want to do with forex. You should know what 80% of your entire day will consist of. When you force yourself to think about all these new strategies and ideas to apply each day, you burn yourself out. You mentally tire yourself. It’s a lot easier just to apply a daily routine because you don’t have burn yourself out thinking about it. You can put your mental energy to good use.
- Trade During Peak Hours: There is a simple reason for this: market forces are in control. During peak times there is so much trading and money moving around that currencies are moving completely by market forces. If you take a time that is not peak and volume is low, big banks will make big trades that cause currencies to go in completely opposite directions. This isn’t good for a small trader. You’re basically at the mercy of a big bank. Stick with the peak hours, to protect yourself and allow yourself to learn the market.
