Forget About Links Exchange - Write Articles!

There is a way to promote your website and products for free: writing articles. This free method of advertising can boost your sites and sales, doubling and even tripling your income. So, how does this work?

Well, it’s relatively simple: write articles relating to your website and submit them to free content submission sites, also called article directories or ezines (the name of ezine comes from “electronic magazine”). Writing articles is easy to do (though a bit time consuming), and can increase your website traffic, sales and of course, your income.

Technical Reviewing Basics - Tips For New Reviewers

Reviewing another author’s work is fun. With so many different items posted on the Internet, looking for feedback, it is tempting to give writers encouraging and helpful reviews.

It is true to say that the content of an item is the most important. This is what will grip the reader; this is what the reader will remember. However, if the reader stumbles over technical errors, I think it is fair to assume that sooner or later that reader will give up and move on. Not a pleasant memory, then…

No More Fearful Timidity

“By the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you-I, Paul, who am “timid” when face to face with you, but “bold” when away!” (2 Corinthians 10:1)

“Janet, please come to the platform.”

I got up out of my seat; my knees felt like overcooked spaghetti noodles—limp and mushy. Carefully walking to the front, a sweat broke out on my brow and my chest began to tighten…I couldn’t catch my breath. Dropping my notes on the way up the steps, I leaned over to pick them up and passed out cold.

How Can You Achieve Your Writing Goals In 2008?

First, you have to know what those goals are. Second, you need a plan. (Cue theme song from “Rocky.”) Whether you write full-time, part-time or when time permits, you need a business plan. Your business plan should include an Executive Summary. The goals you hope to achieve this year should comprise your executive summary. Let’s say yours looks like this:

Executive Summary: A) Complete novel. B) Sell ten articles to magazines. C) Attend one writers’ conference.

Next comes your Plan of Action. How do you plan to achieve these goals? I’ll prepare three model plans of action. POA1 is for those who write full-time. POA2 is for those who write part-time. POA3 is for those who write when time permits.
